every day with the goal to create something
new that day. Most days I am successful,
some days life seems to get in the way.
This website is a sample of my work. I
do my best to keep it current, but typically
I have more works in the studio than what

My
work lies within a fairly wide price range
dependant
upon size, medium and subject. If you
want to learn about the availbility and/or

Commissions
I
have to admit, I love the challenge of commission work. Not only do I get to
spend my days doing what I love, I always get to meet some truly interesting people.
I
always strive to capture a realistic
likeness of my subject, not only in
physical appearance, but also their personality.
I work
closely with my patrons through the process,
developing concepts for all aspects of
the work, such as mood, clothing and
background. After taking the time
to get to know the person and once I
have a sense of who I am to capture in
the painting, I take a series of reference
photographs. As much as I love to work
from a live model, I realize we live
in a busy world and the
time required for a full sitting can
be extremely difficult when considering
everyone's schedule. From these photographs,
I work with the patron and develop the
best
possible composition. I then proceed
with the painting.
